Sponsor an Orphan at Timothy Home

In a nation with over 2.5 million orphans, there is no better place for the Go and Tell vision to take root than Uganda. We believe that something special can happen when we all come together in unity to share God’s love.

These precious orphans below are seeking a sponsor parent who will help provide them with a safe and loving "home."

For $42 per month, you will help provide a child with:

  • Food and clean water ~ 3 meals a day, 7 days a week

  • Medical care through the medical clinic located on site

  • Education at Kids Care and Cream Hill High School

  • 24-hour a day care in Timothy Home

  • Opportunity to hear about Jesus and be encouraged to develop a lifelong relationship with God

John Mirembe

John Mirembe is 9 years old and is currently enrolled in Nursery school. His early childhood has been marked by significant hardship. His mother is living with a mental illness and is HIV positive, circumstances that have greatly affected the stability of his upbringing. For a time, John and his mother resided with his maternal aunt. However, his aunt later entrusted him to a friend who claimed she would care for him. Unfortunately, this arrangement proved harmful, as John was neglected, mistreated, and frequently denied adequate food. As a result, he became severely malnourished and required hospitalization in a government facility, where he received treatment for approximately one year.

Following his recovery, he was unable to return to his aunt’s home, as her husband was unwilling to have him live with them again.

Despite these challenges, John remains a bright and resilient child. His favorite subject is Drawing, and he especially loves the color yellow. In the future, he aspires to become a mechanic.
